This is almost intimidating sitting here trying to think of what to say. What do people want to read? What do people want to see? I'm afraid it's just me on here! But I wanted to have a (late) go at this whole blog thing and be open and genuine about my life. To document this special time of young married life + babies. So I can look back and read my posts and think to myself, "did I really tell the whole world that!?" ;) I've always loved keeping a journal, but I haven't done that in years. Maybe people and pictures will encourage me to keep that going.
I think the reason I want this blog is to share with the world the amazing family and life God has blessed me with. It is a wonderful life God gave me and I am beyond thankful! Being a wife and a mommy is what I truly, truly love. I want it to portray our good times AND hard times. Meaning this: I want to be real with my readers. Documenting life means showing not only the happy, beautiful times but showing the messes, the chaos, the imperfections.
Real life IS b e a u t i f u l. Everyone has a story to tell, and if my story or parts of my story will relate to/encourage/inspire someone, it is worth telling.
All of that brings me here: above all that I mentioned, I want this blog to bring glory to God. To encourage others, connect with others and point them to the Lord. There is no life without Him.
